Is UnfollowersTrackers safe to use?
Yes. We built UnfollowersTrackers to work without asking for your Instagram username or password. Instead, we analyze the official Instagram data export you download directly from Instagram, giving you complete control over your account.
Do I need to log in with Instagram?
No. You'll never be asked to connect your Instagram account or share your password.
Is my uploaded data stored?
No. Most of the analysis happens directly in your browser, and we don't permanently store your Instagram export files.
Does it work with private accounts?
Yes. Because the tool uses your own Instagram data export, it works with both public and private accounts.
Getting Started
How do I get my Instagram data?
Go to Instagram Settings → Accounts Center → Your Information & Permissions → Download Your Information. Choose JSON format and include Followers & Following.
How long does Instagram take?
Most exports arrive within a few minutes, although larger accounts can take up to 48 hours.
Is UnfollowersTrackers free?
Yes. Our core tools are completely free to use.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The tool works on Android, iPhone, tablets, Windows, and Mac.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Everything works directly in your web browser.
Accuracy
How accurate are the results?
Results are generated directly from the official Instagram data export you provide, making them as accurate as the data available from Instagram.
What's the difference between Unfollowers, Fans and Mutuals?
- Unfollowers
- People you follow who don't follow you back.
- Fans
- People who follow you but you don't follow back.
- Mutuals
- People who both follow you and are followed by you.
- Pending Requests
- Follow requests that haven't been accepted yet.
Troubleshooting
My ZIP file isn't working.
- Make sure you selected JSON.
- Upload the original ZIP.
- Don't extract the ZIP.
- Request a fresh export if it's old.
I can't find Followers & Following.
Use the official Instagram download flow and include Followers & Following when requesting your data.
