Do I need to log in with my Instagram account?
No. There is zero login. We use the official data export Instagram provides, you simply drop the ZIP into the upload area on the unfollowers page.
Is my Instagram data stored anywhere?
No. The ZIP is parsed in memory in your browser. The moment you close the tab, all of it is gone, see the privacy policy.
Does the Instagram unfollowers tracker work for private accounts?

Troubleshooting
My ZIP isn’t being recognized, what do I do?
Make sure you exported in JSON format (not HTML), and that the ZIP includes followers/following JSON files.

How accurate are the results?
Results reflect the exact moment Instagram generated your data export. Request a fresh export for the latest data. The tutorial walks through it.
Why are some non-followers actually following me?
Instagram’s data export can lag behind real-time changes. Request a fresh export, the most recent ZIP always wins.
What’s the difference between unfollowers, ghosts, fans, and mutuals?
Unfollowers = accounts you follow that don’t follow you back. Ghosts = follow requests you sent that haven’t been accepted. Fans = accounts that follow you that you don’t follow back.
