Honest limits
What this tool can and cannot do
We would rather tell you upfront than overpromise. These limits apply to every platform workspace and the Instagram analyzer.
Snapshot data, not live counts
Every list you see (unfollowers, ghosts, fans, mutuals) is built from the export file you upload. It reflects who followed whom at the time Meta generated that export, not who is following you right now. Someone may have followed or unfollowed you since the ZIP was created.
Your account only
The tools are designed for analyzing your own official data export. You should not upload someone else's export without their permission. We do not offer a way to look up arbitrary usernames or private accounts.
Export freshness matters
Instagram and other platforms do not update your downloadable export in real time. Request a new export when you need an up-to-date picture. If your ZIP is weeks old, expect stale results.
Platform-specific gaps
Each platform ships a different export format. Some files omit pending follow requests, blocked users, or recent activity. When a field is missing from the export, the tool cannot invent it. Platform guides on /tutorial describe what each export typically includes.
No login means no live API
We never connect to Instagram, Threads, X, or other networks on your behalf. That is intentional for privacy, but it also means we cannot refresh follower lists in the background or notify you when someone unfollows.
Accuracy limits
Username changes, deactivated accounts, and duplicate entries in Meta's JSON can produce edge cases. If something looks wrong, request a fresh export and try again before assuming the analyzer is broken.
What we are not
We are not account recovery, we are not follower-buying services, and we are not bulk follow/unfollow automation. Those are outside our scope by design.
